Responsibilities

+ Lead financial planning, forecasting, and performance management for global R&D organization, ensuring financial discipline, transparency, and decision support

+ Serve as primary finance partner to R&D leadership, providing insights on investment, risk, speed-to-market, and cost management

+ Manage R&D FP&A activities including operating expense and headcount planning, capital and investment tracking, and ROI analysis

+ Guide R&D leaders through scenario analysis, planning assumptions, and trade-offs to align with enterprise financial objectives

+ Develop models to assess financial impacts, capacity utilization, and risk exposure across R&D projects and pipelines

+ Lead, coach, and develop Financial Analysts supporting R&D, setting expectations for excellence and analytical rigor

+ Deliver clear and actionable financial reports to FP&A leadership and executive stakeholders

+ Drive continuous process improvement and partner with corporate FP&A on standardization and system enhancements

Requirements

+ Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting

+ 8+ years of progressive experience in FP&A or corporate finance roles

+ Experience partnering with R&D teams

+ Experience working in a regulated industry

+ Experience operating in a global, matrixed organization

+ Expert-level financial planning, forecasting, and analytical skills

+ Strong understanding of R&D cost structures, portfolio economics, and capitalization concepts

+ Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead through complexity

+ Demonstrated leadership, judgment, and accountability mindset
