Plant Finance Manager
Eaton's ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Plant Finance Manager. This role is based out of our South Milwaukee, WI location.
This position provides financial leadership to the South Milwaukee, serving as a business partner and as a change agent to drive plant continuous improvement actions and to achieve overall plant targets. This role connects finance processes with operations, providing guidance, driving actions, and generating financial insights to ensure operational strategies and decisions will lead to the expected results.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $130000 - $190000 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
What You'll Do:• Multi-site responsibilities to include South Milwaukee, WI and Broomfield, CO with 10% travel
• Analyze financial data and performance metrics related to the operations to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Drives accountability for results and defining key performance metrics together with business leaders
• Provide financial insights and analysis to support operational decision-making, such as evaluating capital deployment opportunities or new projects.
• Driving initiatives (including CAPEX AND WORKING CAPITAL) and influence changes: ensure productivity improvements and growth in areas such as operational excellence, continuous improvement, quality and supply chain management
• Work closely with the operations team to develop action plans, strategies, and initiatives based on financial insights. Drive and monitor the implementation of the plans
• Partner with Plant staff and Division leaders to ensure financial and operational strategies are aligned through consistent processes, analyses, and collaboration
• Create financial models to assess the impact of various scenarios on operational performance.
• Identify financial risks within the operations and propose mitigation strategies.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to evaluate performance against targets.
• Monitor and manage operational costs to achieve efficiency and cost-reduction while maintaining quality.
• Implement Inventory control actions and initiatives to maximize operational profitability while maximizing cash.
• Builds organizational capability through successful hiring, talent development, and succession planning in the business and provides guidance to South Milwaukee lead financial analyst
• Lead the main financial processes for the periodic site forecasts and profit plan
• Analyze and interpret financial data related to the costs incurred by a company during its operations with the primary objective to provide valuable insights to management, enabling them to make informed decisions regarding cost efficiency, pricing strategies, and overall financial performance.
Qualifications:Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field
- 5-8 years varied accounting/finance experience; 2 years of data analytics experience is preferred
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future

- Strong financial acumen and business partnering skills
