Overview

The US Income Tax Accountant for Crocs, Inc. supports the preparation of the income tax provision and outsourced compliance processes, with a primary focus on US federal and state income taxes. This role operates within a dynamic and complex tax environment and partners with internal stakeholders and external advisors to deliver accurate, timely tax reporting. The position offers exposure to multiple areas of tax, including tax compliance, provision, and process improvement opportunities, and is well-suited for a detail-oriented individual who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced team setting.

What You'll Do

* Track the implementation of new tax law changes, including impacts of OB3 tax reform in the US, numerous US state law changes, and other domestic and international changes as they occur.

* Drive the preparation of tax work papers and calculations, including tax depreciation, state adjustments, and state apportionment.

* Support the coordination and review of US Federal, State, and International income tax returns.

* Prepare components of the income tax provision, including the computing book-to-tax differences and maintaining support for deferred tax asset and liability balances.

* Maintain tax account reconciliations for income tax accruals and payments to ensure accurate reporting.

* Collaborate with external consultants for preparation and review of US federal and state income tax compliance.

* Prepare and update tax provision schedules and support documentation to drive consistency and efficiency in tax reporting and tax compliance.

* Assist with federal and state tax examinations, information document requests, and notices.

What You'll Bring to the Table

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related fields;
Masters of Taxation and CPA is a plus.

* 2+ years of related work experience

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

* Effective communication organizational skills to collaborate and maintain relationships with internal partners and external service providers.

* Ability to utilize software applications, such as MS Excel, in creative and innovative ways to streamline complex processes.

* Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

* Experience with multi-state and/or international returns is a plus.

Pay offered will vary based on job-related factors such as location, experience, training, skills, and abilities.
