Missions

Under the direction of elected officials, the director general implements the policies outlined by the municipal team and coordinates the services of the municipality with its material, financial, and human resources. The duties include:

KNOWLEDGE:

- Know the areas of competence of municipalities and their organizations;

- Know the status of the Territorial Public Service;

- Know the legal rules for the elaboration of administrative acts;

- Know the regulatory framework for the functioning of public bodies and establishments;

SKILLS:

- Respect regulatory deadlines;

- Know how to manage versatility and priorities;

- Verify the coherence and respect of the regulatory framework of administrative files;

- Prepare subsidy requests;

- Prepare and format decisions of the municipal council, administrative acts of the mayor;

- Control and evaluate the actions of services;

- Lead, follow, and lead the activities of agents; BEHAVIOR:

- Know how to communicate and have a good capacity for listening and understanding;

- Have a sense of public service (deontology and discretion);

- Have the ability to lead teams and managerial skills;

- Benefit from excellent relational qualities.
