Location: Idaho Springs
Clear Creek County, Colorado seeks a detail oriented Deputy Coroner I to support medicolegal death investigations in our central Rocky Mountain communities. Reporting to the Coroner, this entry level role responds to death scenes, gathers medical and scene information, documents and photographs evidence, assists with decedent identification, and prepares accurate reports. The position works closely with law enforcement, medical providers, and families while upholding statutory requirements, compassion, confidentiality, and Clear Creek County's community focused, integrity driven public service culture.
