Compensation: $19-25 per hour (Hourly rate commensurate with experience. Night shift differential)

THE ROLE
Ignitus Recovery is a growing behavioral health organization providing residential and outpatient treatment for substance use and mental health disorders at Cherry Hills Recovery.
The Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) plays a critical role in supporting both clients and clinical staff in the daily operation of treatment services. This role promotes safety, provides supervision, supports therapeutic programming, and helps maintain a trauma-informed and gender-responsive treatment environment.
This position is ideal for individuals passionate about recovery who bring compassion, professionalism, and consistency to the client care environment.

- Be part of a collaborative treatment team focused on long-term healing
- Play a key role in shaping a new behavioral health treatment program from the ground up
- Monitor client safety, behavior, and participation throughout the shift
- Conduct rounds, milieu checks, and accurate documentation
- Support client orientation, schedules, and program expectations
- Assist with crisis prevention and de-escalation when needed
- Facilitate basic psycho educational groups as assigned by clinical staff
- Support transportation and external appointments when necessary
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic treatment environment
- Assist with meal preparation and general facility upkeep
- Support medication administration in accordance with policy and state guidelines
- Communicate client needs, concerns, and observations to clinical and medical staff
- Assist with maintaining structure, accountability, and community expectations within the program
- Lived experience in recovery with 1–2 years of sustained recovery
- QMAP certification or ability to obtain and maintain
- Ability to maintain professional boundaries with clients
- Basic understanding of addiction, recovery, and trauma-responsive care
- Ability to document observations and communicate clearly with team members
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass federal, state, and county background checks
