Job Summary
Fusion Medical Staffing – Therapy is recruiting a Travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 13‑week assignment in Brush, Colorado. The role requires evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of communication and swallowing disorders across a diverse patient population.

- Valid Speech Language Pathologist license in accordance with state regulations
- Current basic life support (BLS) certification (AHA/ARC)
- Master’s degree or higher in Speech‑Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech‑Language Pathology
- Clinical experience in therapy (new graduates welcome)
- Additional certifications or licenses as applicable
- Use standardized assessments and clinical observations to evaluate speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders.
- Design personalized therapy programs based on assessment findings and patient goals.
- Monitor progress, adjust plans, and maintain detailed documentation in the electronic medical record.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on communication strategies and safe swallowing practices.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and safety guidelines to maintain a safe treatment environment.
- Participate in quality assurance initiatives and professional development activities.
- Perform other duties within scope of practice as assigned.
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and strong interpersonal communication.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and use PC skills.
- Physical ability to remain stationary, move equipment (50‑100 lbs), push, pull, and bend.
- Professionalism when working with diverse personnel.
- Fine motor skills for procedures and equipment handling.
- Ability to cope with frequent public interaction and work under pressure.
- Visual acuity and effective communication skills.
