Massage Therapist – Oncology/Infusion Department

This position is eligible for an 8% PRN Differential

Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center (HRRMC) is seeking a Massage Therapist to join our collaborative, patient-centered care team in a beautiful Salida, Colorado.

This position functions as an integral member of the multidisciplinary care team, reflecting a culture of cooperation, compassion, and mutual respect. The Massage Therapist provides safe, effective, and clinically appropriate massage therapy services in an outpatient setting under the direction of nursing staff.

Provide professional massage therapy services in an outpatient setting while working closely with nursing and clinical staff.

• Therapeutic soft tissue massage
• Manual lymphatic drainage
• Reflexology and other approved massage techniques
• Massage services to HRRMC employees through the Wellness Committee, as requested
• Communicate patient concerns or changes promptly to nursing staff or supervisor
• Document all services provided in the electronic health record (EHR)
• Provide massage therapy education to hospital staff and/or the general public as needed
• Assist nursing staff with non-clinical support tasks such as:
• Delivering meals to patients
• Answering calls
• Transporting blood samples to the laboratory

• Practice massage therapy as part of an integrated healthcare team

Graduate of an approved school of massage therapy.

Minimum of three (3) years of massage therapy experience preferred.

• Current CPR certification required
• Oncology Massage Therapy Certification preferred
