Job Description
A nanny is needed to provide compassionate care for an adult with developmental disorder. The role includes supporting daily activities, personal care, and encouraging participation in therapeutic exercises and community engagement. The candidate must communicate regularly with the family and healthcare providers, adapt to changing needs, and maintain a safe and nurturing environment.
Responsibilities- Support daily activities and personal care of the adult.
- Encourage and facilitate independence, social skills, and community engagement.
- Assist with therapeutic exercises and programs.
- Maintain open communication with the family and healthcare providers.
- Adapt care strategies to meet changing needs of the individual.
- Experience caring for individuals with developmental or special needs.
- High level of patience, empathy, and understanding.
- Reliability and professionalism.
- Valid driver’s license preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
$18 - $27 per hour
