Spanish Peaks Regional Health Center is seeking an Environmental Services Aide to join our team. Our EVS team plays a critical role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, patients, visitors and staff.

PRN as needed position.

Pay Range
: $20.81 per hour (eligible for shift differential).

Shift Differentials

• Weekday Nights – Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday – 7:00 pm – 7:00 am – $3.00 per hour
• Weekend Days – Saturday, Sunday – 7:00 am – 7:00 pm – $3.50 per hour
• Weekend Nights – Friday, Saturday, Sunday – 7:00 pm – 7:00 am – $5.00 per hour

The Environmental Services Aide is responsible for supporting facility cleanliness and infection control by performing daily cleaning and sanitation duties throughout the health center. EVS Aides are assigned based on facility needs and may work in patient rooms, procedure areas, resident areas, offices, and public/common areas.

Minimum Required Education/Experience
:
High School diploma preferred.

• Cleans and services rooms, baths and other assigned areas.
• Cleans, mops and waxes floors, dusts furniture and equipment.
• Assists with laundry pick-up, sorting, folding and delivery.
• Assists in cleaning of emergency spill observed or upon request.
• Maintain assigned equipment for cleanliness and have repairs made when needed.
• Gather and dispose of refuse.
• Transport hospital equipment as assigned.
• Maintains an effective working relationship with Administration, Directors, physicians and their office staff, hospital staff, and vendors to ensure goals are optimized and that good working relationships are cultivated and retained.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Ability to receive and understand verbal and written communications.
• High degree of attention to detail when completing assignments.
• Ability to engage with and work with other personnel and teams.

Must obtain annual flu vaccination, and any job-specific immunizations. Required to complete a tuberculosis screening process.
