PositionBand 6 Occupational Therapist (OT) within the East Intermediate Care Team at The Johnnie Walker Bond, Kilmarnock, covering the whole of East Ayrshire.
Hours And Shift PatternTwo posts: 36 hours per week, 5/7 days worked on an 8‑week rotational weekend cover rota. Each post is permanent.
What You Will DoAs part of the Intermediate Care Team you will:
- Conduct patient assessments, diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Manage discharge and onward referral processes.
- Work in a community‑based setting with flexible/ agile working options.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to prevent avoidable hospital admissions.
- HCPC registered Occupational Therapist.
- Community experience desirable but not essential.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
- Must be a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme before appointment.
