Community OT; Band 6 Impactful Care

Band 6 Occupational Therapist (OT) within the East Intermediate Care Team at The Johnnie Walker Bond, Kilmarnock, covering the whole of East Ayrshire.

Two posts: 36 hours per week, 5/7 days worked on an 8‑week rotational weekend cover rota. Each post is permanent.

As part of the Intermediate Care Team you will:

• Conduct patient assessments, diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Manage discharge and onward referral processes.
• Work in a community‑based setting with flexible/ agile working options.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to prevent avoidable hospital admissions.

• HCPC registered Occupational Therapist.
• Community experience desirable but not essential.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Must be a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme before appointment.
