Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – Exploration Kids Therapy
We are seeking a passionate, neurodiversity‑affirming Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide evidence‑based therapy to children with diverse needs under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
- Deliver high‑quality occupational therapy services as directed by the supervising OT.
- Work with neurodivergent clients, including those with autism, ADHD, developmental delays, sensory processing challenges, and other conditions.
- Implement treatment plans designed by the supervising OT, focusing on sensory regulation, fine and gross motor skills, self‑care, and self‑regulation.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of therapists to provide integrated care.
- Engage with families to support skill development beyond therapy sessions.
- Access a wealth of resources, including therapy equipment, sensory tools, and clinical support.
- Consistent caseload with reliable client attendance.
- Strong administrative and clinical support—our team handles billing so you can focus on therapy.
- Multidisciplinary collaboration with a team that respects and values occupational therapy.

- Associate's Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
- NBCOT Certification and Colorado state licensure (or eligibility for licensure).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with neurodivergent clients (ASD, ADHD, Developmental Delays, etc.) preferred; new graduates with a strong passion for neurodiversity‑affirming care are encouraged to apply.
- Knowledge of sensory processing, self‑regulation, and fine/gross motor development.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills—teamwork is highly valued.
- Passion for neurodiversity‑affirming care and child‑led interventions.
- Consistent caseload with dedicated, engaged families.
