What You'll Do
- Conduct mental health screenings and assessments based on records and clinical interviews
- Develop, implement, and modify individual treatment plans tailored to inmate needs
- Document treatment activities accurately in health care records
- Maintain confidentiality of all sensitive information
- Provide mental health assessments, counseling, and crisis intervention as needed
- Apply psychological counseling techniques with professionalism and empathy
- Collaborate with facility staff to ensure ongoing mental health care for inmates
What You Need
Required:- Valid driver's license and Social Security Card for facility clearance
- Relevant mental health licensure or certification (exact credentials as per state requirements)
- Demonstrated experience in mental health assessment and counseling
- Experience working with inmate populations or in correctional settings
- Strong knowledge of psychological counseling theories and techniques
