Opportunity to work in the scenic Southern Colorado region while making a meaningful impact
Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in Colorado or eligibility for Colorado licensure
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or Long-Term Care (LTC) experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Passion for helping residents maximize independence and quality of life
Ability to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary healthcare team
Provide occupational therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
Implement individualized treatment plans designed to help residents achieve their highest level of function and independence
Accurately document treatments, resident progress, and outcomes in accordance with regulatory requirements
Collaborate with Occupational Therapists, physicians, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary care team to deliver exceptional resident-centered care
Educate residents and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, adaptive equipment, and techniques to promote independence
Follow all state and federal regulations governing therapy services
Adhere to facility policies, procedures, and clinical standards
Promote resident safety, dignity, independence, and overall well-being through compassionate, evidence-based care
