Two pharmacist opportunities are available at a hospital in suburban Denver, Colorado, offering contract roles with immediate start dates.
Position 1 focuses on inpatient pharmacy services with variable day and afternoon shifts. This role requires clinical expertise to manage medication therapy for hospitalized patients, ensuring safe and effective pharmaceutical care.
Position 2 is dedicated to outpatient oncology pharmacy, working day shifts. The pharmacist will support cancer patients by preparing and dispensing oncology medications, collaborating closely with the healthcare team to optimize treatment outcomes.
Both positions require familiarity with the EPIC electronic health record system and a valid Colorado pharmacist license. Candidates should have solid clinical experience and a commitment to patient-centered care.
Key qualifications and experience:- Active Colorado pharmacist license
- Strong inpatient or outpatient pharmacy background depending on position
- Proficiency with EPIC system
- Clinical knowledge relevant to the assigned setting
- Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
- Hospital in suburban Denver, Colorado
- Review and verify medication orders
- Counsel patients and healthcare providers as needed
- Monitor drug therapies for safety and efficacy
- Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Duration: 13 weeks or longer
- Schedule:
Variable days/afternoons for inpatient role; day shifts for outpatient oncology - Immediate start preferred
