Mountain School Based Therapist

The Mountain School Based Therapist will provide school-based clinical services and interventions for students who attend Carlson Elementary School and Georgetown Community School in Clear Creek County, with the goal of promoting behavioral health, emotional well-being, and access to supportive services.
Education, Knowledge,Skills & Experience Required:
- Master's degree in a related field and at least one year of relevant professional experience and/or training required.
- Colorado licensure as an LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or PsyD is preferred.
- Candidate status (SWC, MFTC, LPCC, LSW) with DORA required.
- Establish and maintain therapeutic relationships with students from diverse backgrounds.
- Engage clients and families in treatment planning, support progress toward agreed-upon goals, and coordinate care with internal and external service providers.
- Deliver evidence-based individual and family therapy services in a manner that promotes client progress and is consistent with recovery-oriented and trauma-informed standards of care.
- Provide case management services, including service planning, advocacy, referrals to community resources, and assistance with accessing basic needs.
- Facilitate behavioral health prevention and education groups.
- Assess and respond to behavioral health risk factors, including suicidal ideation, homicidal ideation, and grave disability. As appropriate, complete suicide assessments and involuntary mental health hold documentation in accordance with organizational and school protocols. Identify concerns related to abuse or neglect and complete required reports to Social Services as necessary.
- Demonstrate professionalism, adaptability, collaboration, and effective interpersonal skills in the work environment.
- Collaborate with individuals and systems essential to client well-being, including the school district, child welfare system, juvenile justice system, school-based health centers, families, and other community resources.
Professional Development:
- Participate in continuing education activities to obtain or maintain professional licensure.
- Remain informed of current developments, best practices, and changes within the field.
- Review complex or challenging cases with peers and supervisors as appropriate.
- Participate in ongoing collaborative supervision.
Administrative Services:
- Participate in parent-teacher conferences and back-to-school events.
- Attend monthly school district Mental Health Team meetings.
- Complete clinical documentation within three business days.

Salary Grade 51-Master's Unlicensed Clinician $57,000 - $64,000*
Salary Grade 52- (Licensed Clinician LCSW, LMFT, LPC) $70,000 – $77,200*
Additional Salary Information*:
- The salary range above is based on 1.0 FTE (full time equivalent) or 40 hours per week. Less than 40 hours/week will be prorated and adjusted to the appropriate FTE.*
