Ultrasound/Sonographer

The Ultrasound/Sonographer performs diagnostic ultrasound examinations to assess internal organs and detect abnormalities. This role requires providing high-quality imaging services while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Perform two-dimensional ultrasound scans of internal organs for diagnostic purposes.
• Maintain detailed and accurate imaging records in accordance with departmental protocols.
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure timely and effective patient care.
• Contribute to maintaining smooth patient flow within the department.
• Follow all safety guidelines and ensure the proper functioning of ultrasound equipment.

Qualifications:

• Possess current ARRT registry certification in ultrasound technology.
• Have recent experience performing general ultrasound procedures.
• Echo certification or experience is a plus.
• Demonstrate strong communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a rural, critical access setting.
• Hold a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
