Full Time, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift: Days

Pay: $43.70 - $61.17 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

This position is for the Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program
- Ideal candidate will be registered RDMS in Abdomen and OB/GYN, RVT a plus.

This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option

Summary:

Coordinates clinical education with the didactic curriculum for an accredited imaging program (Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Radiologic Technology) and serves as didactic faculty. Plans, coordinates, provides, and evaluates clinical instruction and competency assessment, and maintains clinical education records in accordance with applicable accreditation standards.

Responsibilities:

* Coordinates clinical education with the didactic curriculum and maintains student clinical rotation schedules.

* Provides clinical instruction and conducts competency evaluations, proficiency checks, and student conferences; documents clinical progression.

* Serves as liaison to clinical sites and instructors/preceptors, verifying credentials and facilitating orientation to program standards.

* Monitors compliance and supports program quality as didactic faculty, including adherence to program and accreditation requirements, curriculum development, maintenance of clinical records, and program assessment.

* Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.

Requirements:

* Graduate of an accredited program in the assigned imaging specialty (Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Radiologic Technology).

* Associate degree required for Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Bachelor's degree required for Radiologic Technology.

* ARDMS (RDMS) for Diagnostic Medical Sonography or ARRT (R) for Radiologic Technology.

* 2 years of relevant clinical experience as a registered sonographer or registered radiologic technologist in the assigned specialty.

* BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.
