Companion Care For A Widower With Parkinsons

Tuesdays and Fridays 1pm to 5pm
- Companion care to a widower with Parkinsons
- Male caregiver preferred

Job Summary:

The caregiver role is a crucial position for those who rely on others for basic daily care, such as bathing, eating, and personal hygiene. Caregivers typically work with elderly or disabled individuals in a home setting.

Caregiver Compensation and Benefits:

Competitive Pay: $20-22/hr or based on experience
Flexible working hours

Caregiver Responsibilities:

Assist clients with ambulation and mobility
Assist clients with personal care, hygiene, bathing, and toileting
Shopping trips & light housekeeping duties, meal prep
Medication reminders
Ability to act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
Clear communication with clients, family members, and team members

Caregiver Requirements:

Previous caregiver experience preferred
Current CPR (American Heart Association) Certification
Adherence to health and safety standards
Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints
Must be respectful and compassionate with a good bedside manner
Outstanding communication, time management and interpersonal skills
Physical endurance to complete required tasks
High school diploma or equivalent
