Substance Use Disorder Counselor

WSi Healthcare Personnel seeks a Substance Use Disorder Counselor to support clients in recovery within a collaborative, mission-driven environment. In this role, you will assess client needs, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide individual and group counseling using evidence-based approaches. You will coordinate care with partner clinics and hospitals, maintain accurate clinical documentation, and support relapse-prevention strategies. Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and intake for individuals with substance use disorders
• Develop and update individualized treatment and recovery plans
• Provide individual and group counseling using evidence-based practices
• Monitor client progress, document sessions, and maintain accurate records
• Collaborate with healthcare providers, case managers, and community resources
• Educate clients and families on addiction, recovery, and relapse prevention
• Ensure compliance with ethical, legal, and confidentiality standards (HIPAA)
• Participate in case conferences, supervision, and ongoing training
