Company Description

Senior Helpers Foothills CO supports older adults who wish to age gracefully at home in the Denver West and Colorado foothills communities. The local franchise was founded by Erika Armstrong, a former pilot who experienced firsthand how challenging it can be to care for aging parents while maintaining their dignity and safety. The organization provides trained care professionals to help seniors remain in their own homes with respect and support at every stage of aging.

Services begin with a complimentary in-home care visit, where families discuss goals, daily routines, pricing, and an implementation plan. Senior Helpers Foothills CO emphasizes ongoing communication and tailored care plans to best serve both clients and their families.

Role Description

This is a part-time, on-site Caregiver role located in Conifer, CO. Caregivers provide compassionate, non-medical support to seniors in their homes, including assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and errands. The role includes offering companionship, engaging clients in conversation and activities, and supporting their emotional well-being. Caregivers may assist with medication reminders, safety monitoring, and mobility support according to each client's care plan.

Team members are expected to follow individualized care instructions, communicate changes in client condition to the office, maintain accurate visit notes, and collaborate with families and the Senior Helpers care team.

Qualifications
  • Ability to provide compassionate, person-centered care, including assistance with activities of daily living, companionship, and emotional support.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with clients, families, and team members, and to report observations clearly and promptly.
  • Reliability and time management skills to follow scheduled visits, care plans, and documentation requirements with minimal supervision.
  • Physical ability to assist with mobility, transfers, and light housekeeping; capacity to work in a home environment in the foothills and surrounding areas.
  • Previous experience in caregiving, home care, or related fields is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to pass background checks and any required screenings.
  • Commitment to respecting client privacy, diversity, and dignity; willingness to adhere to company policies and safety guidelines.
