Denver Regional Rehabilitation Hospital is a cutting-edge inpatient rehabilitation facility dedicated to helping patients reclaim their lives following serious injuries and illnesses. Schedule:
Part-Time, Fridays- 8:00a.m. to 6:30 p.m AND Sundays- 9:00a.m. to 7:00p.m
We are seeking a Receptionist to join our team of passionate patient caregivers!

Required Skills:
- One year of reception experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Insurance verification experience preferred.
- Prior authorization experience preferred.
- OR any equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact by greeting patients, visitors, and vendors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Answer incoming telephone calls and direct callers appropriately.
- Provide hospital telecommunications services utilizing telephones, paging systems, radios, and other communication tools.
- Facilitate patient flow from referral through admission in a timely, accurate, and professional manner.
- Obtain and verify demographic and financial information to ensure accurate patient registration and billing.
- Verify insurance benefits and eligibility as needed.
- Assist with obtaining and tracking prior authorizations when applicable.
- Validate and enter charges into appropriate systems.
- Maintain records related to hospital telecommunications, on-call schedules, paging, and other communication activities.
- Adapt to changing priorities while maintaining effective communication and exceptional customer service.
- Protect patient confidentiality and comply with all hospital policies and HIPAA regulations.
- Support the hospital's mission, values, and Guiding Principles through daily interactions with patients, families, visitors, and coworkers.
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned to support hospital operations.
Position Summary
The Fridays & Sundays Part-Time Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for patients, families, visitors, referral sources, and hospital staff. This position plays a vital role in creating a welcoming environment while supporting the admissions process, telecommunications, insurance verification, and other administrative functions to ensure excellent patient service.
