Medical Lab Scientist

Sonora Quest Laboratories is seeking a Medical Lab Scientist I to perform high-quality diagnostic testing in a technology-forward environment. In this role, you will execute routine and complex assays, maintain and troubleshoot analyzers, and ensure accurate, timely results within our integrated lab information systems. You'll collaborate closely with clinical and IT teams, follow strict quality and safety standards, and contribute to continuous process and technology improvements.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex laboratory tests to support diagnostic and research needs
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory analyzers and related equipment
• Ensure accuracy and reliability of results through quality control and troubleshooting
• Collect, label, and analyze specimens following strict safety and biosafety standards
• Document, review, and report test results in the laboratory information system (LIS)
• Collaborate with clinicians, IT, and lab teams to optimize workflows and data integrity
• Follow all regulatory, accreditation, and company compliance procedures
• Participate in process improvements and implementation of new lab technologies
