CNA, Caregiver

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Support safe mobility, transfers, and positioning using approved techniques and equipment
• Measure and record vital signs, intake/output, and report changes in condition to nursing staff
• Maintain resident comfort, dignity, and privacy while following care plans and safety protocols
• Provide companionship, engage residents in conversation, and support social activities
• Assist with meals, hydration, and basic nutritional needs as directed
• Keep rooms and care areas clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies
• Document care provided in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team to support individualized care plans
• Follow infection control, safety, and emergency procedures at all times
