Physical Therapist Assistant

Stellar Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to support resident-first rehabilitation services in our senior living community. In this onsite role, you'll assist physical therapists with implementing individualized treatment plans, guiding residents through exercises, mobility, and balance training. You'll document progress, ensure safety during transfers and ambulation, and educate residents and families on home programs. Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, you'll help residents maintain function, independence, and quality of life in a warm, homelike environment dedicated to respect, integrity, and exceptional care.

Responsibilities

• Support physical therapists in delivering treatment plans for senior residents
• Guide residents through therapeutic exercises and mobility activities
• Monitor, document, and report resident progress and responses to treatment
• Assist with safe transfers, ambulation, and use of adaptive equipment
• Educate residents and families on home exercise programs and safety
• Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and caregiving teams to coordinate care
• Maintain clean, safe, and well-organized therapy spaces and equipment
• Uphold regulatory, documentation, and ethical standards for therapy services
