Job Details:
Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled CT Tech for a 13‑week travel assignment in Burlington, Colorado. The position offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and support from a dedicated clinical team.
- One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist
- Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- Current ARRT Certification
- Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position
The CT Tech operates computerized tomography scanners to produce cross‑sectional images of patients’ bodies for diagnostic purposes. Responsibilities include preparing patients, positioning them safely, setting technical parameters, ensuring adherence to imaging protocols, and collaborating with radiologists to obtain high‑quality images. The role also involves maintaining equipment, documenting patient information, and following safety procedures to minimize radiation exposure.
Essential Work Functions- Operate CT equipment to produce diagnostic images of bones, organs, and tissue
- Prepare patients for procedures, explain the imaging process, and position them appropriately
- Set technical parameters to accurately demonstrate anatomy and pathology
- Provide high‑quality images to radiologists for interpretation
- Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment
- Document patient information, imaging parameters, and procedural details accurately in the hospital’s system
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver timely diagnostic services
- Adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across various healthcare facilities
- Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of CT Tech practice
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Ability to comprehend written and verbal instructions
- Proficiency with PC skills
- Physical ability to remain stationary, move equipment (50–100 lbs), push, pull, and bend
- Interpersonal capability to work effectively with diverse personnel and demonstrate professionalism
- Technical ability for fine manipulation and assistance with procedures
- Mental resilience to cope with frequent public contact, meet deadlines under pressure, work under supervision as needed, and maintain continuous concentration
