Qualifications- Valid Occupational Therapy license in the state (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience in a school-based setting or strong interest in pediatric therapy
- Solid understanding of IEPs and school special education processes
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and other professionals
- Ability to motivate and engage children of varying abilities
- Organizational skills to manage caseloads and documentation efficiently
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized intervention plans for students
- Support skill-building in areas such as fine motor, sensory processing, and self-care
- Provide direct and consultative services tailored to student needs in classroom and therapy settings
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate closely with school teams and families
- Maintain detailed records, progress notes, and required reports
- Deliver therapy that builds confidence, independence, and academic success for students
