Mammography Technologist

We’re seeking a full-time, skilled and patient-focused Mammography Technologist who is passionate about women’s health and dedicated to providing a safe, respectful, and supportive imaging experience.

Pay Range: $31.45-$47.17 per hour based on experience and qualifications

• Perform a variety of mammography procedures with precision and care
• Ensure patient safety by minimizing exposure to radiation and other risks
• Assess patient needs, comfort level, and ability to tolerate procedures
• Review physician orders and patient history to determine appropriate imaging protocols
• Operate and maintain mammography and related equipment safely and effectively
• Conduct and document routine quality control (QC) testing
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with policies
• Provide compassionate, respectful care to patients and their families
• Communicate clearly with physicians, radiologists, and care teams
• Support a collaborative environment across departments
• Participate in performance improvement and quality initiatives

• Assist with MQSA inspections and accreditation preparation
• Maintain documentation for equipment, QC, and personnel records
• Ensure compliance with all MQSA regulations and standards
• Support audit readiness and proper record retention
• Collaborate with physicists, radiologists, and compliance teams
• Stay current with regulatory updates and industry best practices

Current certification/registration in Mammography by the ARRT is required. A minimum of two years work experience in mammography is preferred.

• Ability to operate general office equipment including computer software applications
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to explain technical terms in a clear and understandable way for a variety of audiences
• Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with the public, other agencies, employees and administration

An acceptable combination of education, training and experience that provides the above knowledge, abilities and skills may be substituted.

Must obtain annual flu vaccination and any job-specific immunizations. Required to complete tuberculosis review/assessment.

Current Basic Life Support/CPR certification.

Work is subject to recurring and inflexible deadlines and frequent interruptions.
