Compensation and BenefitsCompensation:
Proposed hiring rate of $17.50 to $19.10+, actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
- Season pass for employees/dependents and privileges at several other resorts.
- Discount programs (food & beverage, retail/rental, tickets, etc.)
Assist lodging guests with luggage, fulfill group porterage requests, and provide accurate resort information. A bellperson will also be called upon to assist the front desk and other departments with deliveries and room moves.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Greets guests at Lodging Reception Center, directs them to check‑in area and answers any questions.
- Assists guests with their luggage and provides resort information during travel to the room.
- Explains room and building amenities once in the room.
- Explains emergency procedures to guests at the appropriate comfort level.
- Delivers amenities, packages, messages and other items to rooms when requested.
- Maintains Lodging vehicles to Copper Mountain standards to create a positive guest experience.
- Maintains a neat and organized bell stand area and lobby/entry way.
- Collaborates with airlines and other modes of transportation for luggage issues (lost/forgotten bags).
- Works with shipping companies such as Fed Ex and UPS to track down guest packages and arrange shipment.
- Maintains overall knowledge of the resort, hours of operation, food suggestions, and special events schedules.
- Ability to lift heavy objects up to 80lb, work in adverse outdoor conditions, push bell carts through snow and ice, and maintain safe work practices.
- Acts as Night Houseman when needed.
- Staffs bell desk as dispatcher, organizing deliveries and answering bell stand telephone calls.
- Assists other departments with deliveries, including heavy objects.
- Complete the daily bellperson checklist in a timely manner.
- Provide world‑class guest service in conjunction with all duties.
- Perform all other job‑related duties as assigned, i.e. trash and recycle removal, shovel snow, operate snow blower.

- Willingness to work in adverse weather conditions, including rain, ice and snow.
- Must be 23 years or older for insurance coverage.
- Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Criminal background check will be conducted after position is accepted.
- May require use of a motor vehicle; employee must comply with the Driver’s Standards of Copper Mountain.
- High School or equivalent required.
- 1‑2 years in a guest service position preferred.
- Can read, write, and communicate clearly in the English language.
- Must be able to handle stress and maintain professionalism.
