The Night Auditor balances daily financial transactions, verifies guest accounts, and ensures accurate reporting for hotel operations. This role combines overnight front desk responsibilities with accounting duties, providing guest assistance while reconciling revenue, processing payments, and preparing financial reports for management. This position reports to the Front Office Manager.
If full‑time, the role covers both Limelight Aspen and Snowmass locations, 2 to 3 days per week. If part‑time, the role covers Limelight Snowmass solely, 2 to 3 days per week.

Essential Job Functions- Act as Front Desk Receptionist, Concierge, and PBX Operator during this shift
- Assist with guest requests and any guest concerns or issues
- Run night audit daily processing
- Notate and follow up on wake‑up calls from the wake‑up call sheet
- Roll all expected arrivals and no‑shows to next day
- Post overnight parking charges
- Perform check‑in and check‑out duties
- Compile and distribute house reports, including arrivals, departure, and in‑house report
- Sort and file daily receipts for all restaurant outlets
- Make management aware of guest comments and complaints
- Answer incoming internal and external phone calls, as well as additional PBX duties as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Education and Experience Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or high school equivalent required
- 1 year of customer/guest experience preferred
- Basic industry terminology
- Familiar with hotel fire and safety procedures, assisting in emergency and security procedures as directed by management
- Knowledge of company policies and procedures
- Strong problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills to address guest inquiries and resolve concerns promptly
- Strong attention to detail
- Active listening and interpersonal skills to personalize the guest experience
- Ability to act professional in a fast‑paced environment
- Ability to understand written and verbal English
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to work effectively in team settings, contributing positively to group dynamics
- Ability to demonstrate expertise in the technical aspect of the job
- Comply with all policies and procedures for the Front Desk department
- Complete tasks and projects delegated by your manager and assist other departments as business volumes and staff levels demand
- Ability to stand, walk, or be on your feet for extended periods; may require kneeling and bending
- Regular work indoors with no adverse conditions
- Must be able to occasionally lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. individually or with assistance
