Hotel Housekeeping
As our Resort Housekeeping Supervisor, you will oversee and manage the daily operations and performance of the Resort Housekeepers. You will ensure rental units, bath houses, offices, and meeting areas are clean and properly maintained.
This position may require flexible scheduling availability.
Responsibilities- Coordinate team member selection and development and ensure team members comply with applicable policies and procedures
- Inspect and approve the team’s work performance
- Place orders for cleaning materials when needed and maintain compliance with budget guidelines
- Obtain pricing and place orders to keep rental supplies adequately stocked
- Ensure all operations and safety procedures are properly followed
- Respond to guests’ inquiries and complaints regarding resort housekeeping in a timely and professional manner
- 1-year prior housekeeping/cleaning experience, preferably in the hospitality industry
- Demonstrated knowledge of general janitorial work
- Knowledge of safety measures for use of cleaning chemicals
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask
- Basic computer proficiency, including use of email, the internet, and Microsoft Office
The physical demands described are representative of those required to perform the essential functions of this job. The employee will regularly stand, sit or walk for extended periods, lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Working hours are variable, depending on guest occupancy, season, staffing and other factors, and cannot be guaranteed.
