Responsibilities
- Setup and breakdown banquet rooms, arranging furniture, equipment, and décor per event specifications.
- Set tables, chairs, linens, and other event items promptly to ensure the space is ready before the event.
- Maintain cleanliness and order in banquet halls, vacuuming, sweeping, and wiping surfaces; keep all items sanitized and presentable.
- Assist guests as needed, including moving chairs or tables and providing support during event setup.
- Ensure supply of banquet materials such as napkins, silverware, glassware, and dishes.
- Collaborate closely with the banquet team, catering staff, and leadership for seamless event execution.
- Wear and maintain uniforms properly, including nametag; wear a gaming license if possessed.
- Stay alert to perform all responsibilities, maintain awareness of banquet operations, and keep the supervisor informed of concerns.
- Comply with the Colorado Limited Gaming Act, internal policies, safety standards, and health standards.
- Show regular, reliable attendance and punctuality during scheduled work hours.
- Perform other duties, including special projects, as directed.
- Hands‑on hospitality, bussing, or serving experience, preferably in banquet or fine dining settings.
- Experience working under deadlines or pressure.
- Problem‑solving, organizational, and prioritizing skills.
- High‑school graduation or equivalent.
- One (1) or more years of recent, related experience in hospitality or restaurant industries.
- Successful completion of Bloodborne Pathogens and hazardous material training.
Skills and Abilities
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Basic mathematical skills (addition and subtraction).
- Ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Frequent walking, climbing stairs, bending, stretching, reaching, pushing, kneeling, squatting, crouching, stooping, and standing for an entire shift.
- Lifting trays and loads up to 30 pounds to stack, store, or move supplies and equipment.
- Flexible workweek with additional hours routinely required.
$18.00 per hour based on experience.
