Guest Service Associate
Responsible for providing exceptional hospitality services to guests in an attentive, friendly, and efficient manner. Handles parking, vehicle retrieval, and guest luggage assistance during arrival and departure.
Job DetailsCompensation: $17/hr + Tips. Compensation based on skills, experience, and location.
Work Schedule: Saturday & Sunday 10am‑6pm. Extra shifts possible.
Benefits: Eligible to enroll in accident, critical illness, hospital indemnity, telemedicine benefits, and 401K retirement plan. Eligibility depends on job classification, length of employment, and hours worked. Seasonal and temporary roles are not eligible.
Responsibilities- Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with all guests, co‑workers, and clients; greet guests within five feet; use guest last names – 25%
- Use salutation of the day, welcome guests to the location, practice proper Towne Park phone etiquette, and be present in designated areas – 10%
- Parks and retrieves vehicles slowly and cautiously; assists guests with bell services and luggage storage; opens vehicle and hotel doors – 20%
- Assists guests with directions, taxis, reservations, and inquiries; provides information on outlets, meeting rooms, amenities, and local attractions; delivers messages, items, or guest amenities; shuttles guests to approved locations – 10%
- Explains parking rates and retrieval procedures; issues claim checks after receiving vehicle keys and collects claim checks before releasing keys; ensures ticket information (key tag, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey, claim check receipt) is completed; calculates and collects revenue for vehicles as needed – 35%

- Education: High school diploma or GED.
- Licensure: Valid driver’s license for the state of employment.
- Experience: One month related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge: Principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
- Skills:
- Read and write standard English; comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Write simple correspondence.
- Present information one‑on‑one and in small groups to guests, clients, and employees.
- Perform basic math (add/subtract up to three digits, multiply/divide 10s and 100s using U.S. currency).
- Understand 24‑hour and military time systems.
- Understand applicable rates and time passages.
- Operate a manual transmission, perform parallel parking.
Job is routine; follows established practices and procedures. Decisions made within specific operational instructions and departmental guidelines. Unidirectional authority with limited budget responsibility.
Working Conditions & Physical DemandsRegularly required to talk or hear; sit or stand for extended periods; run, walk, handle, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Lifting up to 100lb occasionally, 50lb frequently, 20lb constantly. Majority of work outdoors; environmental conditions may include extreme heat and cold. Travel up to 5% may be required.
