The Tubing Hill Supervisor partners with the Tubing Hill Manager to oversee the safe, efficient, and profitable operation of the Coca-Cola Tubing Hill. In the Manager's absence, the Supervisor assumes full responsibility for daily operations, staffing, and guest experience.
WAGE:The base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of Winter Park Resorts' hourly pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Winter Park Resorts' total compensation package for employees.
Other rewards may include many region-specific benefits.
Hourly Pay Range: $23 - $25 per hour
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:Operational Leadership
- Supervise the daily operation of the Coca-Cola Tubing Hill and conveyor lift while maintaining the highest standards of safety and guest service.
- Lead daily operational planning, opening procedures, staffing assignments, and closing responsibilities.
- Monitor guest flow, wait times, staffing levels, and operating conditions to maximize efficiency and guest satisfaction.
- Make operational decisions during changing weather, equipment issues, and high volume periods
- Foster a culture where safety is the highest priority for both guests and employees.
- Ensure compliance with all Winter Park Resort policies, ANSI B77 standards, Colorado Passenger Tramway Safety Board regulations, and the Colorado Ski Safety Act.
- Conduct incident investigations, complete accurate documentation, and communicate with appropriate departments following accidents or injuries.
- Identify hazards and proactively implement corrective actions.
- Administer First Aid and CPR when necessary
- Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, and train seasonal employees.
- Provide daily coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback.
- Conduct performance evaluations and maintain employee documentation.
- Address attendance, performance, and behavioral concerns using progressive coaching and disciplinary procedures.
- Build a positive team culture focused on accountability, communication, and guest service.
- Deliver exceptional guest service by maintaining a welcoming, safe, and engaging environment.
- Professionally resolve guest concerns and complaints while empowering employees to create positive experiences.
- Ensure consistent ticket validation and revenue protection procedures
- Assist with scheduling, payroll approval, timecard management, and labor tracking.
- Maintain daily operational logs, incident reports, inspections, and employee records.
- Manage equipment inventories, uniforms, tools, and snow tubes.
- Coordinate maintenance needs with Lift Maintenance and other resort departments.
- Perform all Tubing Crew Member duties as needed during peak business periods.
- Operate the conveyor lift safely and efficiently.
- Assist with snow maintenance, setup, breakdown, and special events.
- Support other Mountain Operations departments when assigned.
- Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and sound judgment.
- Communicate effectively with guests, employees, and resort leadership.
- Remain calm and make informed decisions during emergencies and high-pressure situations.
- Adapt to changing operational needs and weather conditions.
- Promote Winter Park Resort's culture, values, and commitment to exceptional guest experiences.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:Education:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Previous supervisory or management experience in mountain operations, attractions, recreation, or hospitality.
- Experience leading seasonal teams in a fast-paced environment. Strong conflict resolution and guest recovery skills.
