Seasonal Winter Host​/Hostess

Elevation Hotel and Spa in Crested Butte seeks Seasonal Winter Hosts/Hostesses to welcome guests, manage reservations and seating, and support a smooth dining experience at our ski-in/ski-out resort venues. Responsibilities include greeting guests warmly, managing waitlists, coordinating with servers and the kitchen, answering guest questions about menus and resort amenities, and handling basic phone inquiries. Ideal candidates are friendly, polished, and calm under pressure, with strong communication skills and prior hospitality or restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet and seat guests in resort dining venues
• Manage reservations, waitlists, and table rotation
• Coordinate with servers and kitchen to ensure smooth service
• Provide accurate wait-time estimates and handle guest inquiries
• Answer phone calls and assist with reservations and basic information
• Maintain a tidy, welcoming host stand and entrance area
• Communicate menu and basic resort information to guests
• Support handling of guest concerns or complaints professionally
• Assist with closing/opening side work as needed
• Uphold resort service standards and guest-focused culture
