The Housekeeping Inspector oversees assigned guest-floor activities, verifies room cleanliness and readiness, and guides Team Members in maintaining housekeeping standards.

Responsibilities:

Oversee daily housekeeping operations on assigned floors.

Inspect guest rooms to ensure they are thoroughly cleaned and ready for guest arrivals.

Follow and reinforce company policies and applicable OSHA and Health Department guidelines.

Provide direction and motivation to Team Members to support service quality and productivity.

Retrain Team Members as needed to address cleanliness issues and maintain consistent standards.

Complete reports and projects as directed by the Housekeeping Manager.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED preferred.

Previous housekeeping experience preferred.

Ability to complete assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, and follow-through.

Availability to work weekends based on operational needs.

Physical requirements:

Ability to stand for extended periods, up to eight hours per day; walk, sit, handle tools and objects, reach, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as required by assigned tasks; and occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Ability to communicate effectively with Team Members while performing inspection and training duties, with or without reasonable accommodation.
