Overview
We are seeking a TS/SCI Cleared Software Test Automation Engineer to support a mission-critical government program located in Southern Denver, Colorado. This role is fully onsite, 5 days per week, working alongside a highly collaborative team of software engineers, QA professionals, and systems integrators in a secure environment.
The ideal candidate will bring strong experience designing and executing automated test frameworks to validate complex, integrated systems. You will play a key role in ensuring software quality across UI, API, and backend services, with a focus on scalability, reliability, and performance in support of real-world operational missions. This is an opportunity to contribute directly to cutting-edge defense technology while working in a fast-paced, highly impactful program.
Candidates must hold an active TS/SCI security clearance and be comfortable operating in a fully classified, onsite setting.
Qualifications- Active TS/SCI with CI Poly or TS/SCI (would eventually need to take the CI Poly after hire) clearance
- Commutable to the southern Denver, CO area
- Hands-on involvement with integration, system, independent verification & validation (IV&V), and formal acceptance testing activities
- Proven track record collaborating across cross-functional teams, multiple vendors/contractors, and geographically dispersed sites
- Experience developing feature acceptance criteria as well as requirements verification measures
- Skilled in creating and maintaining test plans, test cases, and detailed test procedures
- Background supporting operational baselines, including patch implementation, validation, and post-deployment checkout
- Demonstrated experience authoring and executing formal acceptance test events
- Familiarity working with external government or partner agencies to support enterprise-level test initiatives
- Experience building or executing automated test solutions (e.g., JMeter, Selenium)
- Ability to develop automation scripts/tools using languages such as C# or Perl
- Exposure to unit and component-level software testing practices
- Experience managing code and test artifacts within baseline/configuration control systems (e.g., Git)
- Familiarity with SAFe Agile frameworks, including tools such as Agile or Version One, and participation on scrum teams
- Background in requirements-based testing methodologies
$120,000 - $190,000 a year
Salary Breakdown:
- Bachelors with 9+ years OR Masters with 7+ years – $150-190K
- Bachelors with 5+ years OR Masters with 3+ years – $120-150K
