Applications Developer - SharePoint & Power Platform

BAE Systems Space & Mission Systems (SMS) is looking for an experienced and results‑driven Applications Developer to join our Program Management Office (PMO) team. This role involves developing and maintaining SharePoint Online sites, Power Platform solutions, and related tools and dashboards to support program managers and leadership across SMS.

• Develop and maintain SharePoint Online sites and Power Platform solutions, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
• Build and update Power Apps (Canvas/Model‑driven) and Power Automate flows based on established requirements.
• Reconstruct or enhance workflow logic previously built in Nintex using provided mappings and specifications.
• Implement SharePoint Online components such as lists, libraries, content structures, permissions, and UI customizations.
• Perform basic to intermediate SPFx development (React/Type Script) when needed.
• Make iterative updates quickly as feedback is provided by the internal technical lead.
• Provide development support during migration and stabilization periods.
• Prepare solution materials and handoff documentation for end‑user ownership.
• Troubleshoot issues and assist with post‑deployment stabilization.
• Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units, and the company.
• Interact appropriately with others to maintain a positive and productive work environment.

• Required
• BS/BA in a related field plus 2 or more years of related experience (or equivalent).
• Proficiency in SharePoint Online and Power Platform solutions, specifically Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Excellent customer service commitment.
• Analytical thinking, problem solving, decision making, collaboration, and teamwork.
• Ability to manage competing demands while maintaining strong attention to detail.
• Preferred
• Experience with Nintex and/or migrating from SharePoint on‑premises to SharePoint Online.
• Experience with databases, cloud computing, SaaS, Gov Cloud, and on‑premise environments.
• Experience with Microsoft Power BI and data visualization software.
• Experience with JSON/HTML/CSS or other software languages.
• Familiarity with Dataverse, Azure Functions, or Logic Apps.
• Aerospace, defense, or regulated environments experience.

• Pay Rate: $43.73/hr (salary range $43.73 – $43.73/hr).

Contract to Hire – fully onsite in Broomfield, CO.
