Pride Health is looking for Epic Applications Analyst III to support our client's medical facility, which is 100% remote
Pay range - $30 TO $35/hr on W2
Length of assignment - 52 weeks of Contract
Epic Applications Analyst III
Job Summary
The Epic Applications Analyst III is responsible for the analysis, design, implementation, maintenance, optimization, and support of Epic applications and related healthcare technology systems. This role serves as a senior-level analyst who collaborates with clinical, operational, and technical teams to develop and maintain system functionality that supports patient care and organizational objectives.
The analyst will evaluate business and clinical requirements, design workflows, troubleshoot complex system issues, configure Epic applications, and provide advanced support for end users. This position may serve as a project lead, mentor team members, and act as a subject matter expert for assigned applications and workflows.
Key Responsibilities
Application Analysis & Support
Analyze and diagnose complex application and system issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for Epic applications and integrated systems.
Troubleshoot incidents and system problems while documenting findings and resolutions.
Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve technical issues and improve system performance.
Epic Build & Configuration
Design, build, test, implement, and maintain Epic application functionality.
Configure and maintain:
Orders
Order Sets
Therapy Plans
Flow sheets
Procedure Documentation (Proc Doc)
Develop and optimize workflows to support clinical and operational needs.
Review and implement Epic upgrades, updates, and enhancements.
Requirements Gathering & Workflow Design
Gather, validate, and translate business and clinical requirements into technical specifications.
Partner with clinicians, operational leaders, and IT teams to evaluate and improve workflows.
Analyze existing processes and design solutions that increase efficiency and user satisfaction.
Simplify complex workflows and identify opportunities for process improvement.
Project Leadership
Lead medium to large-scale Epic projects and system enhancements.
Scope, prioritize, and coordinate project activities.
Serve as a technical lead and mentor for junior analysts.
Participate in project planning, implementation, testing, and go-live support.
Reporting & Data Support
Collaborate with report developers and end users to define reporting requirements.
Assist with data validation and reporting needs.
Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Epic data structures and application workflows.
Support reporting initiatives by clarifying data definitions and business requirements.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum of 4 years of experience supporting healthcare applications, Epic systems, or related IT environments.
Experience building and supporting Epic Orders, Order Sets, Therapy Plans, Flow sheets, and Procedure Documentation.
Required Certifications
Current Epic Certification in one of the following:
Epic Clin Doc/Orders
Epic Ambulatory
Epic Beacon

Experience leading large-scale Epic implementation or optimization projects.
