Cyber Security & ITAR Analyst

Location:

North Denver, Colorado
Salary: $100,000 - $130,000

Why This Opportunity Stands Out:

• Play a lead role in shaping and owning the organization’s cybersecurity strategy and compliance framework

• Be the go-to expert for ITAR and government regulatory compliance in a specialized, high-demand niche

• Opportunity to design and implement security controls, incident response plans, and risk mitigation strategies from the ground up

• Blend hands-on engineering with strategic decision-making — not a siloed role

• Exposure to aviation/manufacturing cybersecurity trends and cutting-edge security practices

• Direct influence on business continuity, system performance, and data protection

• Participate in security audits, penetration testing, and simulated attacks — build real-world defense experience

• Engage in company-wide training initiatives, positioning yourself as a security thought leader internally

Key Responsibilities for the Cyber Security & ITAR Analyst:

• Design, implement, and maintain cybersecurity systems, controls, and policies

• Monitor networks, systems, and endpoints for threats; respond to incidents and breaches

• Ensure compliance with ITAR, export control, and government cybersecurity requirements

• Conduct audits, risk assessments, and vulnerability testing (including penetration testing support)

• Develop incident response, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans

• Lead organization-wide security training and awareness initiatives

Qualifications for the Cyber Security & ITAR Analyst:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)

• 5+ years of IT administration experience + exposure to cybersecurity

• Knowledge of security frameworks, networking, and enterprise infrastructure

• Security certifications (Security+, Network+, A+, or similar) preferred
