Our client seeks a Planview Administrator / SME to administer, optimize, and govern the Planview platform in support of enterprise project, portfolio, and resource management. The role will sustain system integrity, drive adoption, align the platform with organizational objectives, and ensure integrations with Jira. The position requires an accountable and organized operator who can own deliverables end to end, set timelines, communicate proactively, and operate with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities:
- Lead net-new Planview configuration and development, including modules, workflows, lifecycle models, and data structures.
- Configure and maintain portfolios, project and program types, resource structures, and financial models.
- Build complex workflows, business rules, custom fields, forms, and scripted dialogs.
- Develop executive and operational dashboards, data views, and reports.
- Own and extend the Jira-Planview Hub integration, aligning demand intake with portfolio execution.
- Implement program management capabilities, including program views, milestones, and delivery tracking.
- Support investment capacity planning, resource planning, and portfolio-level governance.
- Configure and support Projectplace for collaboration and execution.
- Lead platform enhancements, upgrades, UAT, and regression testing.
- Translate business and PMO requirements into scalable technical designs.
- Partner with PMO, IT, Engineering, and Program Management stakeholders.
- Provide Tier-2 / Tier-3 support for complex configuration and reporting issues.
- Define technical standards, guardrails, and configuration patterns.
- Maintain technical documentation (data models, configuration standards, design decisions).
- Monitor system performance, configuration integrity, and data quality.
- Serve as the technical SME for Planview configuration, customization, and best practices.
- Experience from a customer or ownership perspective as a Planview admin or platform owner who can operate independently across the Planview suite, including Planview.me, Projectplace, and Planview Portfolios.
- 3+ years of hands-on Planview Portfolios (PPM) experience with emphasis on configuration and development.
- Demonstrated experience leading net-new Planview configuration, not only maintaining existing environments.
- Deep understanding of Planview data structures, portfolio hierarchy, workflows, lifecycle models, and reporting frameworks.
- Proven experience building complex workflows, business rules, custom fields, and governance models.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills across configuration, data, and performance issues.
- Solid understanding of portfolio, project, program, and resource management concepts.
- Hands-on experience with Jira, including demand management and integrations, and supporting or extending Planview Hub integrations.
- Experience supporting Agile and Waterfall delivery models in Planview.
- Experience implementing investment capacity planning, program management, or financial models within Planview.
- Highly accountable, organized, and execution-focused with the ability to own deliverables end to end and drive timelines independently.
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or related field preferred.
