Description of the PositionThe INETUM group is recruiting Application Security Consultants to strengthen its cybersecurity expertise and to work with our large account clients. These are full-time positions based in France.
In this role, you will play an essential part in the management, optimization, and protection of application environments. You will use your expertise in application security to contribute to the protection of software and IT infrastructures against vulnerabilities and cyber attacks, collaborating with various teams to ensure security on a large scale. You will actively contribute to the continuous improvement of the IT security architecture.
Main duties:
- Accompany clients in defining the global security strategy of their systems and environments, including design, implementation, deployment, and maintenance to improve their application security posture.
- Evaluate the security level of client applications, develop a roadmap, and accompany them in the implementation of identified projects.
- Analyze security logs and events to detect, investigate, and take preventive and corrective measures against security incidents.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate application security measures and ensure compliance with security frameworks and regulations (ISO 27001, NIST, OWASP, GDPR…).
- Identify security risks in the context of new complex digital transformation projects in applications (migration plans, transitions, compliance, etc.).
- Work with Cyber team leaders to develop and implement new offerings that meet client needs.
- Contribute to the governance of application security, including participation in committees, creation of dashboards, and evangelism with other teams.
- Encourage cooperation between product teams, cybersecurity, and compliance, implementing security controls and promoting best practices.
Technical skills required:
- Application security, cryptography, penetration testing, secure coding, Dev Sec Ops , CI/CD, container security
- Tools: SAST/DAST
- Languages:
Python, Java, JavaScript, C#, Go
Profile:
- Graduated from a Software Engineer program with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience as an Application Security Consultant or App Sec Consultant.
- Significant experience in the development and implementation of application security solutions.
- Familiar with application security audit techniques (penetration testing, automated scans, source code analysis).
- In-depth knowledge of concepts such as Zero Trust, Dev Sec Ops , Landing Zone, Threat Monitoring, Governance & Compliance.
- Independent, a force of proposal and solution-oriented.
- Fluent in English.
