Business Analyst

Job Title: Business Analyst Location: Indiana, (Preference is a hybrid work schedule but will consider exceptional Remote candidates)
Position Type: Contract Interview Mode: Webcam

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and gather detailed business requirements.
• Develop and document business process models to illustrate current and future states.
• Propose and design technical and process solutions that meet business needs and objectives.
• Communicate and validate requirements with relevant stakeholders.
• Construct workflow charts and diagrams, studying system capabilities, and writing specifications.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to ongoing optimization efforts.
• Convert roadmap features into smaller user stories.
• Work with IT and other departments to implement solutions and ensure they align with business goals.
• Liaison between various business departments and group
• Communicate findings, and recommendations, to project manager for updates to stakeholders and executives.
• Participate in testing and validating new systems and processes to meet business requirements.
• Assist with project management as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business or related field.
• Required Business Analyst experience or in a related role
• Required 5 Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools
• Required 5 Strong experience leading, facilitating and motivating teams for medium to large scale IT projects
• Required 5 Strong understanding and experience working with stakeholders in achieving their goals
• Required 5 Strong background in facilitating/ leading requirement gathering sessions
• Required 5 Demonstrated experience in the creation of User Stories
• Required 5 Strong organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills
• Required 5 Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills across all levels of the organization
• Required Demonstrated understanding of all phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC), preferably in a Hybrid Agile environment.
• Required 5 Advanced troubleshooting, critical thinking, analytical problem-solving, writing, and communication skills.
• Required Ability to develop productive working relationships, communicate clearly, and collaborate with people across the organization
• Required Ability to manage projects to successful conclusion.
