Endpoint Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Endpoint Engineer to strengthen and evolve enterprise device management across a global technology environment in Broomfield, Colorado. This contract position is suited for a hands-on, detail-oriented individual who can improve endpoint performance, reliability, and security across Windows, macOS, and Linux systems while collaborating with infrastructure, security, support, and application teams. The role focuses on modern endpoint administration, device deployment, patching strategy, and operational excellence in a distributed enterprise setting.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee endpoint operations for a global fleet of Windows, macOS, and Linux devices, ensuring stable performance and consistent standards.
• Configure and support core Microsoft technologies, including Intune, Defender for Endpoint, Entra , Active Directory, and Group Policy, to maintain effective device governance.
• Build, refine, and maintain desktop imaging and endpoint configuration processes to support efficient provisioning and ongoing management.
• Drive software distribution, patching schedules, and device lifecycle activities to keep systems current, secure, and aligned with business needs.
• Administer mobile device management solutions for phones and tablets while supporting enterprise mobility requirements.
• Prepare, test, and release application packages for broad deployment across the organization.
• Investigate and resolve endpoint-related issues involving hardware, operating systems, applications, and security controls.
• Work closely with cross-functional IT teams to align endpoint services with broader infrastructure, security, and enterprise application initiatives.
• Produce and update technical documentation, operational standards, and support procedures to improve consistency and knowledge sharing.
• Contribute to endpoint security and compliance efforts, including upgrade projects, device refreshes, and other enterprise rollout activities, with occasional after-hours support for urgent issues.
