Responsibilities- Design, build, and deploy Agentforce agents using Agent Builder; defining topics, instructions, and actions grounded in documented business processes.
- Author and refine agent instructions and prompts using Prompt Builder; ground agent responses in Data Cloud and core Salesforce data to ensure accuracy and relevance.
- Configure agent actions using Flow, Apex, and REST/SOAP integrations to connect agents to Salesforce and external systems of record.
- Facilitate discovery sessions and stakeholder workshops to identify use cases suited to autonomous and assistive agents; translate needs into topics, actions, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Test and evaluate agent behavior using the Agentforce Testing Center; establish guardrails, escalation paths, and human-in-the-loop controls before production release.
- Ensure agent and platform solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned to federal governance, security, and compliance standards.
- Configure and customize supporting Salesforce capabilities;
Public Sector Solutions (PSS), Service Cloud, and Data Cloud, that agents operate against, using declarative tools and best-practice architecture patterns. - Serve as a strategic advisor on Agentforce capabilities, Salesforce platform architecture, and optimization opportunities.
- Design scalable data and security models aligned to federal requirements.
- Provide technical and functional leadership to cross-functional project teams; mentor junior consultants and contribute to the best internal practices, accelerators, and solution frameworks.
- Partner with stakeholders to validate designs via prototypes and iterative feedback cycles.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Eligible to obtain and maintain a government clearance.
- 1–2 years of hands-on Agentforce experience, including building agents with Agent Builder, authoring instructions/prompts with Prompt Builder, and configuring agent actions.
- 4 years of hands-on Salesforce consulting or implementation experience; minimum 7 years of overall professional experience.
- Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Agentforce Specialist certification.
- plus one or more Consultant-level certifications (Sales, Service, or Experience Cloud).
- Strong business analysis skills; able to lead client discovery, requirements definition, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Advanced proficiency with Salesforce automation, especially Flow.
- Familiarity with integrations and APIs (REST/SOAP); capable of guiding technical integration approaches.
- Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
- Additional certifications:
Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, Data Cloud, Omni Studio, and PSS. - Experience using Data Cloud to ground and contextualize agent responses.
- Hands-on Apex and Lightning Web Components (LWC) development.
- Omni Studio experience (OmniScript, Data Raptors, Flex Cards, Integration Procedures).
- Prior public sector or federal delivery experience.
- Strong expertise in the Salesforce platform and applications, with a deep understanding of development best practices and standards.
- Proficiency in Apex and declarative tools such as Flow and Omni Studio.
- Proficiency with the Agentforce platform, including Agent Builder, agent topics, and custom action development.
- Familiarity with front-end web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Knowledge of Salesforce integration patterns and technologies, including REST and SOAP APIs.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex requirements and design efficient solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
