Strategic Buyer
Responsible for developing, validating, and implementing sourcing strategies for assigned categories, ensuring the generation of efficiencies, responsible sourcing, compliance with procurement policies, and the creation of sustainable value for the business through effective management of suppliers and stakeholders.
A day in the life of... Developing and implementing sustainable sourcing strategies for assigned categories, aligned with business needs and best procurement practices. Leading negotiation processes with suppliers to capture efficiencies, optimize costs, and improve commercial terms and payment conditions. Ensuring compliance with compliance and responsible sourcing standards in all procurement and supplier management processes. Analyzing markets, trends, risks, and opportunities to develop competitive strategies that ensure business continuity.
Collaborating with areas such as Supply Chain, Quality, Finance, Operations, and other key functions to generate value and achieve organizational objectives.
What will make you successful:
Degree in Commercial Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related fields. Minimum 3 years of experience in strategic sourcing, purchasing, or procurement managing different categories of expenditure. Experience in negotiating with suppliers, managing risks, and developing sourcing strategies. Intermediate to advanced English. Intermediate to advanced Excel (mandatory). Knowledge of SAP and Power BI. Knowledge of contract management, market analysis, procurement regulations, and responsible sourcing.
Strong analytical, communication, negotiation, and collaborative skills.
