About the RoleWe are looking for a Material PlannerII—professionals with a background in material planning and a proven track record delivering products to market. This role requires high levels of urgency, proactive problem solving and the ability to coordinate across engineering, procurement, manufacturing and logistics to ensure timely procurement of materials, optimize inventory levels and minimize costs.
ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will plan and schedule the procurement of materials to ensure timely availability to meet production schedules. You will use an ERP/MRP system to manage and synchronize inventory levels with production demand, collaborate with procurement, manufacturing, engineering and logistics, and coordinate activities and resolve challenges. You will analyze demand‑scheduling data to forecast material requirements, identify and support projects to enhance systems and processes, monitor and analyze material usage, lead times and supplier performance to uncover improvement and cost‑reduction opportunities, coordinate with procurement to ensure timely delivery, resolve quality, delivery or pricing issues, and prepare and present reports on material planning and inventory performance to management and stakeholders.
Qualifications- Requires Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- Typically 2+ years of experience.
- Exposure to purchasing best practices and lean manufacturing principles.
- Proficiency in Excel and ERP/MRP systems for data analysis, reporting and decision support.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities.
- Certification: APICS.
- Experience using SQL, Python, R, MS Project, PowerBI, Tableau.
- Experience with SAP.
Pay Range: $73,457.00 – $. The actual base compensation will be determined on a case‑by‑case basis and may vary based on job‑related knowledge and skills, education, experience, internal equity and market competitiveness.
