Supply Chain Manager

Earth Roamer is seeking a strong leader for our Supply Chain Department at our manufacturing facility in Dacono, CO. The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for the accurate inventory of all incoming materials and supplies; plan purchasing and procurement to maximize efficiencies; and incorporate best supply chain practices to minimize production delays. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelors’ degree in inventory management or a related field and have 5+ years of experience in an inventory role in a manufacturing environment.

APICS CPIM or similar certification is preferred. In addition, this candidate must be highly proficient in inventory management or ERP software – Sage 100 experience preferable. This role

requires the ability to plan future supply of materials while also being heavily involved in the tactical day to day operations.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Oversees team of purchasing and warehouse employees.
  • Executes daily inventory analysis; identifies and resolves discrepancies.
  • Monitors demand and analyzes data to anticipate future supply and production needs.
  • Manages inventory tracking system to record deliveries and stock levels. Maintains and ensures accuracy of the inventory system.
  • Manages Cycle Count Program
  • Provides forecasts to critical long lead time vendors
  • Must have demonstrable ability to analyze data in Excel using Pivot Charts, vlookup etc.
  • Identifies and resolves discrepancies and problems within the ERP system to eliminate future issues.
  • Proposes strategies and processes to reduce costs and eliminate production delays.
  • Work with management and developers to ensure ERP is properly utilized to support strategies and processes.
  • Works with purchasing department to schedule delivery of materials, supplies, and equipment.
  • Develops business relationships with suppliers.
  • Reports on inventory levels, supply chain progress, and procedural efficiency issues to production and upper management.
  • Directs inventory control, receiving, and materials storage.

    Oversees stock item master, identifying incorrect descriptions and stock numbers.
  • Identifies opportunities to reduce transportation costs and charges.
  • Identifies write-offs on damaged or obsolete inventory and works with accounting to reflect accurate value of inventory.
  • Establishes and maintains procedures for conducting and valuing interim and/or year-end physical inventory.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience as inventory manager or similar position in a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
  • Working knowledge of inventory management software (e.g. ERP) – Sage 100 experience preferred.
  • Ability to accurately track inventory and create reports in ERP system.
  • An analytical mind with strong math skills.

Education
  • Bachelors’ degree in inventory, purchasing, business, supply chain management or similar.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g. CPIM) will be a plus.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in a similar role in manufacturing.
Job Details
  • This is a full-time position requiring consistent dependable attendance.
  • This position is exempt, and therefore not eligible for overtime pay.
  • The position may require some work outside of normal business hours.
  • This position reports directly to the CEO.
  • Starting wage $90,000-$120,000 base annually.
  • Benefit Package totals additional $6,000-$10,000 annually:
