Office Manager, Harriman Construction, Inc.
Harriman Construction, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Office Manager to lead administrative, human resources, and office operations for a growing construction company. This is a senior‑level role requiring strong judgment, discretion, and the ability to independently manage priorities while supporting executive leadership.
Responsibilities- Lead and oversee all day‑to‑day office and administrative operations
- Manage purchasing, vendor relationships, and office systems with accountability for accuracy and efficiency
- Partner with and assist the Controller on specific accounting and financial support tasks
- Own and administer Human Resources functions, including onboarding, employee administration, recordkeeping, and compliance support
- Maintain confidential personnel and financial records with a high degree of professionalism and discretion
- Serve as a central point of coordination between leadership, staff, and external partners
- Be trained on company‑specific software systems and independently manage and apply those systems
- Minimum 5 years of progressive Office Management experience, preferably in a senior or lead role
- Minimum 2 years of Human Resources experience with hands‑on responsibility
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities with minimal supervision
- Purchasing and vendor management experience
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability and willingness to be trained in and independently manage company‑specific software systems
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse group of individuals
- Must be able to begin employment on April 1, 2026
- Ability to become a Notary Public
- Ability to successfully pass a background check; business and personal references required upon application
- Construction industry experience would be a bonus
- Competitive salary: $67,500–$72,500 annually
