Job Summary:

The Assistant Manager of Building Maintenance will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the resort's base area-including groundskeeping, parking, transportation, and snow removal. In addition, the supervisor will provide support to the Building Maintenance team as needed. The ideal candidate brings a strong sense of accountability, prioritizes safety and compliance, and fosters a culture of trust and collaboration. This role is critical in building a high-performing team and ensuring effective coordination across departments to maintain operational excellence throughout the resort.

Job Responsibilities:

* Collaborate with the Senior Manager of Base Area Operations and the Manager of Building maintenance to support all facets of Base Area and facility maintenance operations.

* Lead and supervise the Base Area Operations team during both summer and winter seasons.

* Promote and participate in maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.

* Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training staff.

* Create and manage employee schedules to ensure proper coverage and efficiency.

* Manage departmental budgeting and monitor financial performance.

* Communicate daily operational plans clearly and adapt to changing priorities or conditions.

* Oversee summer operations, including groundskeeping, lawn care, weeding, gardening, and parking lot maintenance.

* Oversee winter operations, including parking, snow removal, and guest/employee transportation.

* Perform other duties as assigned to support Base Area Operations.

Job Requirements:

* High School Knowledge of resort area operations and grounds work

* 1 year experience leading a team

* Valid U.S. Driver's License

* Microsoft Office, Internet, ability to adapt to changing workplace programs

* Ability to communicate in English

* Able to operate equipment

* Leadership aptitude

* Must be able to work weekends & holidays

The expected pay range is $58,461.98 - $77,126.78. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
